This past September, we helped to sponsor the 2014 Lake Wylie Children’s Charity (LWCC) Benefit Concert at T-Bones on the Lake. The LWCC is a local, 100% volunteer charity that assists local families who battle with childhood illnesses. This year’s benefit recipient, Morgan Williams (16), has been suffering from Crohn’s Disease since she was 8 years old. Morgan had her colon removed and multiple surgeries to combat the disease.
The LWCC Benefit Concert raised over $53,000 this year to help the Williams family. The concert raised $5,000 more than the year before, and was a great success! The LWCC strives to improve every year to better help local children and families in need, and we at Comer Distributing will continue to support their efforts. www.lkwchildrenscharity.org
